Our Agency requested that families take a picture of their kiddos holding an 8x10 framed referral picture to put into a slide show they're putting together for the end of the year.  I don't know how y'all do it, but getting it together to get this picture done was a little.... consuming....
I had to
order the picture,
wait 5 days
ask the kids to hold it like this
stand like this
look at this
smile like this
open your eyes like this
relax like this

Finally I just took a bunch of pictures while trying to get them to laugh.
Daddy was behind me making faces
and I was OK with that
as long as they were trying to do all of the above mentioned activities to produce a decent picture

I even thought last night I should wash her hair so it would be bouncy for the picture
but she had Gospel club after school
then violin group class
didn't even get her homework done til this morning
so there was NO.WAY. we were fitting in a bath with hair washing...
thus
the 'au natural' look - which to tell you the HONEST TRUTH
I'm really OK with it... Honestly!  ya know why?
Because they're holding the picture
standing together
side by side
actually smiling
with their eyes open
and they look relaxed to me!

Hope the agency puts their picture in their slide show - but if they don't
I'll make up my own
