In honor of 20 years of advocating for the forgotten, our agency recently put together a video of waiting children.

Since our children have been home almost 3 years, I've been following families in this circle for almost 4 years.

It struck me how wonderful many of these children look!  I met some at the orphanage, I watched some go from not-yet-referred to having a forever family.  It's amazing what good nutrition and a loving family does for an orphan - for anyone!

These aren't just beautiful faces - they're families whom I communicate with regularly, pray for regularly, and watch grow into a family, encourage and receive encouragement.

Many have shared the hard transitions, most of those times are just a memory though because LOVE HEALS!  Loving a child, who you've taken the risk to welcome into your home and family really does heal so much!  It's so hard in the beginning, and hard times come around - just like with birth children - but everyone deserves to grow up in a loving, warm, nurtured, home!
