Last week when we received an update with the precious photos of our soon to be son... there was something not too flattering on the very last line of the report; I'll share the last 3 lines with you, let's see if you notice it too.

He can eat all kinds of food, but can not eat greasy food.

He is in the orphanage.

He did not receive a package from the family.

ya, you see, the family is not competent to adopt - we've known that we can send the package since mid June..... Honey and I went out and purchased a set of cars the very weekend we heard we had PA (pre approval)..... but the cars sat on the counter in a box ALL.SUMMER.LONG..... 

so today, after recovering from the blow to our wallet by receiving, not the LOA, but a reminder that our 3rd agency fee has to be paid before we receive our LOA, and recovering from the blow to our hearts after looking at his cute face, and reading his medical report (he's 3 feet tall and weighs 20 lbs) and finally, getting over that we're behind schedule on the 'package from the family' ordeal!  

we went out shopping 

 so we can fill up a box

 with some soft goodies,

this one has a sound machine insert that we're going to bring with us

We have friends who've adopted whose children can't sleep in a quiet room - need background noise (probably due to sleeping in an orphanage and needing to sleep amongst all the sounds) 

He's probably never had a soft, satin edged baby blanky

and some hand size plastic cars, 

and a throw away camera so the nannies can take pictures of our little guy's friends

 and some treats for the nannies caring for our little one!

now, if we can get a quick family photo so we can get this in the mail before we travel to China.....
